The last freebie for this kit...

... until after Halloween, that is! 8(;-D

I'm going to be uploading a brand new Disney-inspired digital scrapbooking kit (that will look great with all of your Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party pics!) in October, and since I still have several pieces left to give away in my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit, I'll just interrupt it for the month. That way, you'll still get the whole kit, but you have a bit of a breather in order to get in the mood for Halloween! 8(:-D

Today's photo corners are a reverse of a previous set... this time, it's a black-on-red theme!

You can download the two zipped PNG files here and as usual, no shadows are included on the 300 dpi files, just the ones shown up above.

So until tomorrow, when the "happy haunting" begins, remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Another wide ribbon

Today's Disney-inspired digital scrapbook freebie is a wide striped ribbon.

The file you'll be downloading from here is a full 12 inches wide, 300 dpi virtual grosgrain ribbon that's striped to match the color theme in my "It All Started With a Mouse" digi kit. Unlike the sample shown above, the PNG file image is not shadowed; this way, you can apply any shadow you want, or leave it without.

Hope you're all having a good week, and have had a good month of September. I can't believe how fast this year has gone!

Don't hesitate to send me some samples of the pages you've created using this kit! I'll gladly post them here on the blog to show everyone else, and who knows? Maybe I'll even start a special giveaway freebie to anyone who sends me one! What do you think? Should I? ;-)

Until tomorrow... remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

A couple more circle "doo-dads"

I wasn't exactly sure what to call this series of Disney-inspired digital scrapbook embellishments... I just started calling them "doo dads"... I guess they'd be equivalent to chipboard accents or something like that! I still like "doo dads" - not sure why! lol!

Regardless... they are a continuation of my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit (I promise, we're getting close to the end here, folks!) You can download the zipped PNG files here and as usual, the 300 dpi image files are not shadowed, which allows you to shadow them however you wish. The circles are also approximately an inch across, about 50% larger than you see illustrated up above. They're textured with the same look and feel as the coordinating 12x12 paper pieces they were inspired by, as well.

Thanks so much for all the wonderful feedback! I'm really enjoying reading all of your comments, and I hope to receive some more samples from you to show everyone else!

Until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

The Next-to-Last Alpha

Here's the next-to-last alpha from my Disney-inspired digital scrapbooking kit, "It All Started With a Mouse":

This alpha has a white marbled paper fill, and you can download the zipped PNG file (300 dpi of course) here. As usual, the images themselves are not shadowed, just the above sample.

Hope you're all having a good weekend! See you tomorrow, and remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Saturday Frame Freebie - part 3!

So... it's Saturday, and just like the past 2 Saturdays, I'm giving you a frame for you Walt Disney World-inspired digital scrapbook freebie today!

This 4x6 sized frame is a 300 dpi PNG file, un-shadowed, and you can find it here. It's another element in my "It All Started With a Mouse" digi kit (as you can begin to see, if you've been following this blog... it's a big kit!) and this kit works especially well for photos of Mickey - and some of his pals, of course - especially when the "main mouse" is wearing his tuxedo attire!

If any of you happen to have any layouts that you've used my kit to create, I'd love to see them, and share them with all of my guests here! You can leave me a comment, or email me, whichever you'd prefer.

Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend - if you're in the mid-Atlantic area of the country, stay dry! It looks like it's going to be a wet one, for sure!

Until tomorrow... remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Friday Knotted Ribbon - Stripes!

I can't believe how fast these weeks go! It's already Friday again, so here's another knotted ribbon for your Disney-inspired digital scrapbook pages! Again, it coordinates with all things Mickey, and is part of my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit.

You can find the zipped PNG file here, and of course, the ribbon image does not have any shadows, just the sample shown above.

I'm going to be working on that Halloween set... so you might want to keep an eye peeled in October! You just don't know what you might find!

Until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Another Paper Freebie!

Today's Disney-themed digital scrapbook freebie download is another paper!

This is yet another 12x12, 300 dpi patterned paper from my Walt Disney World inspired kit, "It All Started With a Mouse" that I've been giving away, piece by piece, here on my blog.

You can download the PNG file here and start scrapping away!

We're getting close to the end of this kit... it's a pretty big one, as you can see if you look back through all my previous posts. I'm beginning to design a new kit (this one probably won't be quite as large, however!) and I'm basing it around a Halloween theme... perfect for all of those "Not So Scary" Halloween party pics you have ready to scrap!

Until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday!

Photo corner freebie day! ;-)

Here are two more photo corners, one regular and one mouse-ear'd, from my Walt Disney World-inspired digital scrapbooking kit, "It All Started With a Mouse." This pair of corners coordinates wonderfully with the buttons on Mickey's red pants... or his shoes... hint, hint! 8(;-D

You can download the zipped PNG files here and as usual, the images you'll receive are not shadowed, just the ones that are shown above.

I still have several more freebies from this kit to hand out, so keep coming back! Until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Yet another knotted ribbon... today's color is...

... white!

That's right, today's Disney-inspired digital scrapbooking freebie download is a white colored knotted ribbon. It's one of the final knotted ribbons in my "It All Started With a Mouse" digital scrapping kit... I still have a few more ribbons left to give you, but this is the last solid-colored one... unless I happen to add more! You never know! lol!

You can get the zipped PNG file here and as usual, the image in the PNG file is not shadowed, just the sample shown up above.

I really enjoy reading the comments from those of you who are enjoying these freebies, and I again want to invite anyone who has used any of these freebies in a layout to send me a link or an image of your finished piece, and I'll include it here for all to enjoy and see!

I'm also letting you in on a not-so-secret "secret"... I'm starting to work on another kit, and given the time of year, I decided to make it a Halloween-themed kit... perfect for digi scrapping all of those "Not So Scary" photos you might have from previous years, or any that you might be able to take now that the parties are starting in earnest down at Walt Disney World! Look for the new freebies from the new kit to start showing up sometime around the 1st of October! (I just hope no one wants to "boo!" them!) ;-)

Until tomorrow, remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

A little late, but coming in under the wire!

So sorry! I've been feeling a little under the weather today - just a head cold - but I just now realized that I hadn't posted my freebie yet! Oops!

So here's two circle embellishments that coordinate with my Disney-inspired digital scrapbooking kit... we're getting close to the end, but I still have several items from "It All Started With a Mouse!"

As usual, you can find the download here and again as usual, the PNG files are not shadowed, just the sample image up above.

Tomorrow I'll definitely post earlier in the day! Again, I'm so sorry I was so late!

Thanks for your understanding, and remember:

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

A tan Alpha

At first glance, today's Disney-inspired digital scrapbook alpha freebie may look a lot like the yellow freebie I offered awhile back... but it actually is more of a tan - specifically, a Mickey's pal Pluto tan that coordinates with the rest of the elements and papers of my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit.

You can find the unshadowed PNG file to download here in a zipped format.

I hope everyone has a great week coming up! The class reunion was a lot of fun last night, and I hope everyone who traveled any distance to attend makes it back home safely... now it's back to reality and other work ahead! ;-)

So until tomorrow, remember:

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Another frame-up for Saturday

Just a quickie Disney-themed digital scrapbook freebie for today...

It's a 4x6 inch, 300-dpi black frame that coordinates with all things Mickey from my Disney-inspired digital scrapbooking kit "It All Started With a Mouse." You can find the unshadowed PNG file here. Happy downloading, and I hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Until tomorrow (afternoon sometime!):

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Friday Folded Freebie

Here's another digital scrapbooking freebie that's part of my Disney-themed "It All Started With a Mouse" kit:
You can find the zipped PNG file to download here, and again the only shadows on the actual download file are on the overlapped portions of the ribbons; the other shadows shown above are for demonstration only.

Thanks for all your kind words and so forth; I'm having a lot of fun just giving these freebies away! Until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

A sunny day, a sunny paper!

Since it's such a sunny day here today in northern Indiana (and probably one of the last days it will be that way, given our normal fall weather should be approaching!) I thought I'd give you a bright yellow (sunny) background paper from my Disney-themed digital scrapbooking kit, "It All Started With a Mouse."

The full 300-dpi, 12x12 zipped file can be downloaded from here.

I want to give a big "THANK YOU!" to the Digi Free search engine - they're now following my freebies!

I'm still on the busy side with getting things ready for my class reunion... so until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Wednesday Photo Corners

Yup, it's Wednesday again! And here are another 2 sets of photocorners that are part of my Disney-themed digital scrapbooking kit "It All Started With a Mouse." This week, it's the tan ones:

You can find the zipped file here and as usual, the PNG files are not shadowed, only the samples shown above.

Have fun with these freebies, and until tomorrow,

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

It's a Red Ribbon Day

Here's another knotted ribbon that goes along with my Disney-themed digital scrapbooking kit, "It All Started With a Mouse." Today, you get the red one!

You can download the zipped PNG file here, and as usual, there are no shadows on the file, just the preview shown above.

I hope you're enjoying these daily freebies! I want to apologize if it ends up later in the day that I get them published... I'm in the middle of finishing up work on my 30th high school reunion this week. It's extremely difficult to believe I've been out of school that long! It's all over on Saturday night, so as I get down to the wire, I might end up missing a day or so of freebies... I want to apologize in advance if that happens! (I'll do my best not to let it happen... but if it does, please forgive me!) :-)

That's it for today/tonight... as always,

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

The third Monday Paper Clip special

Here's the fifth paperclip in my Disney-inspired digital scrapbooking kit, "It All Started With a Mouse". So far, it's the final paperclip I have in this set, although I might include one or two additional colors if time allows (I'm in the middle of a large project, non-digi scrapping related, so it may be a few days/weeks until I can create some new colors. Thanks for your patience in advance!)

Here's the preview:

And you can download the non-shadowed zipped PNG file here.

Thanks again, as always, and I hope you're enjoying the freebies! Until tomorrow:

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Another Sunday Alpha!

Another Sunday has come around, and here's another Disney-themed digital scrapbooking alpha for you from my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit:

You can download the zipped file here and again, no shadows are on the PNG files, just the preview above.

It's been a busy weekend! Hope your's is going well!

And until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

All framed up on Saturday!

Here's your Saturday Disney-themed, digital scrapbooking freebie! It's a 4x6-sized, slightly beveled red frame that's part of my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit:

You can download the zip file here, and again, no shadows are on the PNG file that you will get.

Hope you enjoy your freebie and your Saturday! See you sometime in the afternoon tomorrow!

And remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

The Friday Freebie... 2 more knotted ribbons!

Here are two more knotted ribbons that are part of my Disney-inspired and themed digital scrapbooking kit, "It All Started With a Mouse"... a yellow one, and a black one.

You can download the files here and as usual, no shadows are included on the PNG files, just on the samples shown above.

Hope you're enjoying the freebies! There are more to come!

Thanks, too, for your patience... I'm going to be somewhat busy working on an unrelated project this week and next, so the freebies might not get posted until later in each day, but I will do my absolute best to get them posted daily!

Have a great weekend, and until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

The Thursday Freebie!

Here's today's freebie... I'm sorry it's a little late in the day!

This folded ribbon is a little bit of an extra from my "It All Started With a Mouse" Disney-themed digital scrapbooking kit:

You can download the zipped file here and once again, the shadows are only on the preview shown above, except where the overlap happens on the ribbon.

I've been having a blast designing this kit, and I'm maybe about a third to half-way thru uploading the whole thing. So, there's going to be quite a few more items that hopefully you'll all be able to use in your Walt Disney World or Disneyland trip pages!

Until tomorrow,

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Here's a Sample from Janis (yensid)!

Janis (yensid) gave me permission to post a page she created using some of my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit, so here it is!

Thanks, SO much, Janis! It looks absolutely great! (I'm not sure who's the more "sharp dressed man" in that photo, either!) ;-)

and remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

If it's Wednesday, then it's a Photo Corner day!

Not only is it Wednesday, but it's also 09/09/09! Woo Hoo!!!!

(Not that there's anything significant with the freebie today with 09/09/09, it's just fun to say it!)

So here you go, another two photocorners for you to add to your collection:

You can download the zipped file here as usual, and (yada yada yada) the shadows aren't on the photocorner files, just the previews.

So, what does one do on a day that happens only once every thousand years? I don't think we have anything special planned ourselves... but maybe we'll work on that!

So, until next time, remember:

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

I have fixed the problem with the Labor Day Special

Thanks to Diana for commenting that the download for the Labor Day special wasn't working! I truly apologize for the problem; I'm not sure what happened, but I went ahead and deleted and then re-uploaded the zip file... and it appears to be working. (We do tend to have intermittent internet problems... one of the hazards of living in the country at nearly the very end of the DSL line, I suppose!)

Please don't hesitate to leave comments whenever you run into a problem - I'll do my very best to fix them whenever they happen. Thanks again for your patience!

Until next time...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday!!!

It's Tuesday, so here's another knotted ribbon! (Big surprise, I know...) ;-)

This digital scrapbooking freebie embellishment continues my Disney-inspired "It All Started With a Mouse" kit... I have a few more similar ribbons to share. You can download the zipped file here, and as usual, there are no shadows on this ribbon - only on the sample above.

So, has anyone created any pages yet with these freebies? I'd love to see them, especially if they're from Walt Disney World, or Disneyland!

I'll start the ball rolling... this isn't a page, per se, but rather it's my cell phone wallpaper! It's silly, I know... but one day, it finally dawned on me that I could do so much more with my digital scrapbooking than just make pages and albums... I could also make my own customized computer desktop wallpaper! After I made the first one, I realized that I could also make custom screens for my cell phone, too... and my netbook... and Brian's laptop!!! Why I didn't think of this long ago, I'll never know!

Everything in the image above is from my kit (which you're downloading freebie-by-freebie!) and shows my family, including my Mom, with the Dapper Dans and "Scoop Sanderson" - the reporter on Main Street, USA. This is one of my all-time favorite photos, and I was so happy that it turned out. It helps commemorate my Mom's very first visit to WDW (and Florida, too) and I can't think of a better bunch of guys to share that experience with than our very good friends from Main Street, USA! (Thanks guys!)

That's it for now... until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

The Labor Day Special...

is a background I whipped up today.

It's a 12x12, 300 dpi background paper, and you can find the zip file here.

Hope you enjoy it, and hope you enjoyed the Labor Day weekend! Fall's right around the corner here in Indiana. The corn and the soybeans are both starting to get brown... even some of the trees are starting to turn. It won't be too long until I really start craving a trip to Florida! (And of course, Walt Disney World!)

Until tomorrow, remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

Another Monday, another paper clip - part duex!

I can hardly believe that this is the 3rd Monday I've been giving digital scrapbooking freebies away... and this is the next-to-last Mickey clip in my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit. Next Monday will be the final clip, but I still have a lot more embellishments to include, so don't worry! There's more to come!

You can get the download here, as usual. Today, I put the white clip on this blue background, since white on white might be a little tough to see here.

I hope everyone's having a good Labor Day and that your weekend has gone well, too! Still not sure if I'll be posting a 2nd freebie today or not... it depends on how my day progresses! I can say this, however... if I do post, it will be later in the day, so you might want to check back sometime in the evening!

That's it for now... until later on, remember:

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

Sunday, September 6, 2009

It's an Alpha Day again today!

Here's a striped version of the digital scrapbooking alpha from my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit!

As usual, you can download the zipped file here:

I'm sorry I was a little late getting it posted today; we've had a few internet issues... that's what happens when you live in the middle of the country, though, I guess! ;-)

Don't forget, the alpha is shadowed only on the sample preview I've posted up above... the file doesn't contain any shadows and is a PNG file with a transparent background. Enjoy!

I'm still trying to come up with something for Labor Day... something a little Disney, a little Labor Day... we'll just see what happens!

Until then, remember...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

Saturday, September 5, 2009

We've had stars...

... and today we have more stripes!

Here's your digital scrapbooking freebie for today! It's a 12x12 inch, 300 dpi background paper with a striped pattern, yet another paper from my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit.

You can download the zipped file here!

Hope you are all having a good - and safe - weekend - the last holiday weekend of the summer! (Can you believe it? I barely can!)

Amazingly, we are nearly 3/4ths of the way through 2009... where has the year gone????

Until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

Friday, September 4, 2009

Another Friday, another ribbon!

Yup, it's Friday... Yeah! But that doesn't mean that the freebies stop coming, by no means!

Here's today's Disney themed (from my "It All Started With a Mouse" kit) digital scrapbooking freebie...

As usual, you can download the zipped file here. This ribbon, like last Friday's, is a full 12 inches by 1.5 inches, 300 dpi, and non-shadowed, so you can rotate it, crop it... basically do whatever your little heart desires with it, within reason, of course! ;-)

Thank you to everyone who's been stopping by, and especially a great big thanks to everyone who's left comments... I love your feedback!

I plan on uploading a freebie every day this weekend... with it being a "long weekend" it may be a little late in day before they get online, tho... and Brian says I need to release a special "Labor Day" themed freebie... not sure what that might be! I will probably have to move away from the current kit to do so... and, of course, it all depends on whether I come up with any good ideas! (Hmmm... or maybe I'll just release 2 freebies? Who knows? I sure don't! LOL! You'll just have to come here on Monday and see what happens, I guess!!)

So... until tomorrow...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

Thursday, September 3, 2009

I was feeling a little bored today...

... so I decided to share a little "board" with all of you! ;-)

This is a Mickey-head chipboard accent embellishment for all of you Disney digital scrapbooking afficianados out there! It's approximately 1.5 inches by 1.25 inches, 300 dpi, and the file does not contain the shadow (of course!)

You can download the file here as usual.

Thank you, so very much, for all the comments about my freebies... I really do enjoy getting feedback from everyone... it confirms for me that I made the right decision in giving these away! 8(:-D

That's it for today... until tomorrow: "It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Aha! I've got you cornered... AGAIN! ;-)

Here's two more photo corners, both with the star paper added to them, continuing my It All Started With a Mouse Disney-esque digital scrapbooking kit!

You can download them from here and as usual, the files do not have shadows on them, just the previews above. :-)

I hope everyone is enjoying the freebies, and thanks to everyone who's left comments! I'm glad to know that these are appreciated - and I appreciate the replies in return! :-)

I'm in the middle of a dauntingly big (okay, "huge") project right now... I'm creating a high school reunion book in a digital scrapbook format... so if I'm brief, please don't take offense!

I'll just have to keep my favorite Walt Disney quote in mind, and use it as a mantra, I guess! And on that note...

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

8(:-D

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

All tied up in knots... the sequel...

and a Tuesday "Two-fer!" ;-)

These two ribbons coordinate with all of the papers and embellishments in the "It All Started With a Mouse" Disney-esque digital scrapbooking kit that I'm giving away, piece by piece.

You can download the zip file containing the 2 ribbons right here.

Hope everyone's having a good week... Kellie's feeling a little better, but she still has a way to go until her face is totally cleared up. (And we're also thankful for generics... we only had to pay $4.00 for the tube of cream!) We're thinking now that she might have a "food intolerance" to tomatoes. I guess it's not that uncommon an occurance, evidently.

Anyway... enjoy the freebies, and I look forward to seeing some of the pages you scrap with them!

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible!"
